~Students were given an outline today in preparation for Friday's test! This guide is an important one for them to follow when studying for the Unit test on chapters 1,2 and 3! Please add to this guide --Chapter 2 (Long review) question 17!
November 28:
~Science Test will be on Friday, December 2, 2011. This test will be on chapters 1, 2 and 3--Unit 1!! This will be going ahead on Friday --while we do not have a scheduled class on Friday, arrangements have been made to have the science test that day!!

~ Students covered section 2.2 in class today and questions 1-4 page 42 were assigned to be completed for tomorrow! All terms are to be completed by tomorrow as well ! First term quiz is on Friday on terms 1-10.

~ Should students need some extra time to complete the next sections of the Science Fair Portfolio (that are supposed to be in tomorrow ) an extension is given until Tuesday of next week.
October 25:
~ First of all please remember that students are expected to come to school with the materials that they need for each class!! We have been in school now for almost TWO months and students are still forgetting homework, books, assignments, agendas, notes, pens and pencils!
~ Terms for chapter 2 MUST be completed for Thursday, October 27!
~ Terms Quiz Dates for this chapter are as follows:

- Science Fair portfolios were handed out yesterday and we discussed how this year's science fair would work !!
- Students have been given due dates for certain portion of the portfolio and we agreed on the following dates:

- Science Fair will be on November 22nd, 2011
- Students will be given some class time to work on the project and students are more than welcome to stay after school next week on the following days to work on their projects ( rides must be prearranged for student pickup)

Thursday -- 3-4:15 pm
- Students are encouraged to get together with their partners and to get started on their projects !!
- Duo tangs for chapter 1 have been collected and chapter 2 terms have been handed out --any five terms are due for next class!
